Make It Happen

Thought I would share with you some of the photos I took the other day on a rooftop. It might not show on the pictures, but the rain was pouring down, I had to wrap a plastic bag around my camera so that it wouldn't get totally ruined and it was really cold (but luckily I had a brave model!) and we made the best out of it!

Ask most people what they want out of life & the answer is simple - to be happy.

Capture the moment

Model: Miriam Tullien
Make up: John Ryan Sæle

Pictures from the fashionshoot I had last week. This was a workshop we had with fashion photographer Julie Pike. Once again I used the amazing model Miriam and make-up artist John did a great job with the makeup and hair styling.

The Perfect Day

model: Miriam Tullien

This was such a fun shoot! Went to the botanical garden, to take some pictures with friends; Daniel and our model Miriam, when suddenly out of the bushes crawls a hedgehog! So obviously we had to include him in the shoot, cute as he was. It was a perfect spring day, with the sun shining, unexpected props showing up and a gorgeous model, so had the best time taking these pictures. I found it so inspiring to take pictures of Miriam, that I used her in another photoshoot I had recently, for a school project. So more pictures will be coming soon !

Included some "behind the scenes" shots, that Daniel Spiro took. Check out his site here.

Le Printemps

A mixed selection of photos I've taken over the last few days. As you can see spring is finally here, inspiration is everywhere and life feels pretty great !

Before sunset

A very fun and very short, 15 minute photoshoot I had with a friend. Experimenting with natural light and a piece of broken glass I found on the ground, which I used to reflect light. I just love using the afternoon sun and trying out all the different effects you can obtain with lighting. I've always prefered to take photos during those few hours before the sun goes down, since I often think that's the time when the light is the most interesting.

New Obsession

Well here's my newest project. I've been trying out skateboarding photography lately. I though it could be quite the challenge, since I'm not used to doing sports- or action photography and that it would be fun to try something different to what I'm used to. And it's turned out to be so much fun and I'm totally obsessed with it now. It's really hard to capture the shot at the right moment, but I really enjoy the fact that there's so much to learn and never one boring moment. At the same time, I'm trying to combine my photography-style with the skateboarding and see how that turns out.
