For a while I've been wanting to take my photography to a slightly darker place. And now that autumn and colder days have arrived, I was suddenly very inspired to use the grey skies as a background and add some melancholy in my photos.

A while back I found this amazing abandoned (or at least it seemed abandoned) old house with a gorgeous garden. And I decided that the whole place was very my style, especially when it comes to taking pictures. It was the perfect area to create a story with a mysterious, dreamy and lonely feel to it.

Darker sides

A few more blurry polaroids, cause I like the imperfection in them. Outside it's raining now, and I'm not ready for those autumn days just yet. I think that might be the reason for the colder and darker colortones in these pictures.

For the love of polaroids

Here are a few polaroid inspired photos I took on a trip last weekend. I've always been fascinated by the different color tones you get with polaroids, the sudden blurriness and of course the nostalgic feel you can achieve.
