Where Journeys Begin

I'm selling prints from one of my favourite journeys ever.
Landscapes from the breathtakingly beautiful Lofoten.
Here you can see them with the frames I like the most:

It's fun to see how different an image can look depending on what colour you chose for framing. I'm really into the one above in the natural wood, it picks up the colour of the sand in the picture. But then again a classic white frame also shows off the image in a great way:

This one is from our arrival on the island of Moskenes. I have to admit that the little village of Reine, where we spent our first days, was my absolute favourite place.
So this photo marks for me the start of a beautiful holiday.

Isn't it unbelievable that someone lives here at the foot of this mountain and wakes up everyday day surrounded by this spectacular nature?
I wish it was me.

On The Wall

Thought I would share with you some more of my work that is up for sale on Society6 and how I would frame it.
I absolutely love these white frames for some of my pictures. Most photos in my home have classic black frames, so I'm very excited to soon be receiving the photo you see below with a simple and clean white frame.
Society6 is great for previewing how the art pieces will look in different sizes and with many kinds of frames in different colours, so check out the store and have fun testing out the different options.

Pink Dreams

It's strange to think that these photos were taken on the first days of this new year.
Holidays always go by too quickly, even though I try to savour every minute of it and focus on special moments, so I later on can reminisce and go back to that very time in space, recollecting what it all felt like.
I guess that's why I always take so many pictures, it is my way of slowing down time, making every moment last juts a little longer and help me remember all these beautiful experiences that I'm so grateful for.

Send someone a little wilderness

The Norwegian wilderness animals are now up for sale in my store on Society6.

You can get them as art prints to hang on your wall, but I have also made them as the cutest stationary cards. I thought they just looked so adorable in this format and it's a great way to show off two beautiful norwegian creatures. Isn't it the perfect way to send your love to someone you don't see that often and who maybe never has seen a norwegian wolverine or lynx?

Time To Play

Finally weekend!
I met this little wildcat a month ago. One of the most amazing creatures I've seen, especially since I love cats!
I haven't forgotten about these wildlife photos that I promised to post. But I have been working a lot on getting my photography prints up for sale and had to put these beautiful animals on hold for a while.
More to come very soon!

Enjoy the weekend :)

And FREE shipping on all my photo prints until Sunday 12th of January!

We See You

Some of my photos are now for sale on Society 6!
Here you can see one of my favourite deer photos in some of the different styles that are available.

All photos are gallery quality Giclée print on natural white, matte, ultra smooth, 100% cotton rag, acid and lignin free archival paper using Epson K3 archival inks. They also come with a custom trimmed white border for framing.

I really loved the framed versions. A beautiful frame really accentuates the photo and gives it such an exclusive touch.
On the website you can choose from lots of different frames and photo sizes.
For this photo, I really like this dark, wooden frame, called conservation walnut.

The Conservation Series frame is made from solid wood claimed from socially and environmentally responsible forests. It has a clean and contemporary 0.75" wide x 1.25" deep profile with a smooth veneer finish. Premium shatterproof acrylic protects the face of the art print, while an acid free dust cover on the back provides a custom finish.  And they all include wall hanging hardware.

You can also preview what the photo will look like in different sizes and with different frames, which is pretty fun to see. The look of the photograph can change completely depending on what colour you choose to frame it! This way if you choose to buy an art print of the photo, but prefer to frame it yourself, you can also get good ideas on what style would suit it the best.

You can also get the photo as a stretched canvas in two different sizes. This looks really neat on a clean white wall and can be the centrepiece in any room.

Life In The Hills

This is the area where our hotel was, with endless views of the sea and the alps.
Beautiful winter light and the best trekking routes - guarantied a great workout!
There are so many great little paths you can take up and down all these steep hills, leading you down to  a beautiful deserted beach or taking you high up into the clouds, where you get breathtaking panoramic views of the whole coast.
In addition this place is just so peaceful in the winter time and the climate is so agreeable.
